Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, ordered the provision of urgent relief aid to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which is witnessing several regions in which torrential rains and floods have resulted in deaths, injuries and displacements from these areas. The head of state also ordered the provision of all humanitarian relief services to the displaced from the areas that experienced torrential rains and floods to enhance their ability to overcome the challenges they face. The UAE relief aid includes about three thousand tons of food supplies, as well as tons of medical and pharmaceutical supplies and tents to shelter the affected.

What I want to clarify is that what my country, the Emirates, is doing is not new to it. This is its principle, and what the country is doing is helping the needy by giving generously.
