The UAE announced that the country achieved a financial surplus in its government revenues of 125.5 billion dirhams (34 billion dollars), during the first half of 2022.
The UAE Ministry of Finance said, in a tweet on Twitter, that the federal government and the governments of the Emirates achieved total revenues of 305.6 billion dirhams ($ 83.20 billion) during the first half of 2022.
The rise in the revenues of the UAE, a member of OPEC, one of the largest producers of crude oil in the world, comes after the rise in oil prices significantly due to the repercussions of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
