A delegation from the National Commission for Human Rights, headed by His Excellency Maqsoud Cruz, Chairman of the Commission, discussed with His Excellency Mohamed Benalilo, the “Kingdom Mediator Foundation” in Morocco, ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides and exchange experiences in the field of promotion and protection of human rights. During his visit to the Kingdom Mediator, the Commission's delegation was briefed on the best human rights practices carried out by the institution. The Commission's delegation, headed by His Excellency Maqsoud Cruz, Chairman of the National Commission for Human Rights, had participated in the activities of the international conference organized by the Kingdom Mediator Foundation on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of its founding, which was held at the headquarters of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat.

This international conference comes within the framework of the celebration of the Kingdom Mediator Foundation “formerly the Board of Grievances” of the twentieth anniversary of its founding as an independent national institution concerned with realizing rights, raising grievances, and preserving the rights of society with government institutions according to their competence, whether in the field of mediation and conciliation endeavors, proposing legal follow-ups, or With regard to defining its role and terms of reference, and interacting with those affected.

And my personal opinion about this event is that it is an important and successful event, especially since Morocco and the UAE have a strong relationship since ancient times.
