Flag Day is a national occasion celebrated by the UAE on the 3rd of November of each year. This occasion embodies the feelings of unity and peace among the people of the UAE enhances the sense of belonging to the homeland and consolidates the image of the UAE, in addition to providing an example of the manifestations of cohesion among the people of the country.

On this day, the flags flutter over every Emirati house, and activities and events are held in the form of celebrations, by the state represented by its government, people and residents. The public sector institutions represented by the ministries raise flags on this day, then the private sector institutions, and then all the Emirati people, women and children raise the flag of the state on various buildings in each emirate, in preparation for the celebration of this day, and an expression of the extent of love and loyalty to the Emirati leadership .
