The whole world aspires to spread peace in all corners of the world, and this is something that, if achieved, the world will live a comfortable life, So in the light of that Today, Friday, Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, begins a "pilgrimage for peace" to southern Sudan, after ending his visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo this afternoon. The Vatican News website indicated that this is the first visit by the Pope to South Sudan, and the Pope said before the start of his tour in African countries that "his people are looking forward to a better future that will only be achieved through reconciliation and peace."
Tens of thousands of residents of various cities in southern Sudan flocked to the capital, Juba, using minibuses, convertibles, bicycles, and some on foot. The Pope is accompanied on his visit by Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Cantbury, as well as the head of the Church of Scotland.
In my personal opinion, the Vatican should be thanked for this great step, which we all hope will achieve peace in the entire region. 🕊️✌️🤍
