A number of important landmarks in the UAE are lit up in support of the fourth International Day of Neglected Tropical Diseases, the annual event aimed at mobilizing the international community's support for the eradication of Neglected Tropical Diseases - a group of diseases that affect around 1.7 billion people worldwide.

On this occasion, seventeen buildings and landmarks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai were lit in orange and purple, the official colors of the International Day for Neglected Tropical Diseases, in a move aimed at raising awareness about these diseases, and confirming the UAE's commitment to eradicating these dangerous diseases.

The list of participating landmarks included the Abu Dhabi Municipality, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Al Ain Municipality, Al Ain Tower, Dubai Frame, Emirates Palace, Etihad Arena, Global Village in Dubai, Khalifa University, and Marina. Abu Dhabi Mall, the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, and the headquarters of the Mubadala Company,The Sun Tower at Yas Marina Circuit, Sheikh Zayed Bridge, and the W Abu Dhabi Hotel.

And from my own point of view that's not new for my great country the UAE because it has always been country of humanity. ♥️🇦🇪
