Russia and Ukraine announced, on Wednesday, the exchange of more than 230 prisoners of war, in the first official exchange between them in several months, in the midst of escalating mutual strikes, after the UAE’s diplomatic intervention and its continued efforts to resolve the conflict between the two countries, which have already succeeded in Implementing a family exchange deal between the two countries due to the good diplomatic relations between them and Russia and Ukraine. Kiev and Moscow confirmed that the exchange took place through the mediation of the United Arab Emirates, which is an important partner for Russia in many humanitarian, economic, and energy issues.
